PROGRAM

Infant and Toddler 10-36 Months

IC infant and toddler program is designed to stimulate the five senses and plant the seeds of future success across all areas of development. It has been created with age-appropriate abilities in mind to ensure our youngest learners remain engaged without pressure or frustration. Balanced & adventurous exploration, opportunities for peer social engagement, and an introduction to teacher-guided instruction all set in a warm and inviting classroom form the pillars for this foundational year.

Curriculum

Outdoor Play

Many outdoor activities naturally help young children develop essential motor skills like coordination, agility, balance, and dexterity. Children who are encouraged to explore outdoor environments will put their abilities to the test and constantly develop new skills through trial and error.

Sensory base learning

We engage children to sensory play including exploring color with rainbow rice, exploring texture with fluffy soap foam, or exploring smell with apple-scented playdough. Many activities even explore more than one of the 5 sense; taste, hear, smell, touch and see!

Art and Imagination

We believe that children learn to express their ideas and imagination through art. It encourages them to experiment with unknown materials and use new methods and techniques to achieve their desired effect. This helps boost their self-confidence and decision-making skills in the future.

Language Development

When we help children learn how to use language, we want to start by helping them do more of what they’re already doing by reinforcing and helping them feel proud about their attempts to communicate. Early language acquisition is instinctive and for most children tends to happen quite naturally.
