How can I secure a spot in your center?

We’re happy to help you secure a spot at our center! Here are the steps:

1. Visit Us: Book a tour online or in person to see our facilities and learn more about our programs.
2. Sign the Childcare Agreement: This formalizes your intent to join our center.
3. Pay the Spot Securing Fee: A non-refundable fee of $350, which will be applied toward your child’s first month’s tuition.

Why is the spot securing fee non-refundable?

The spot securing fee ensures we reserve a place for your child in our center. It allows us to plan staffing, materials, and resources in advance to maintain the highest quality of care. Since the fee covers these upfront preparations, it is non-refundable. However, to make it easier for families, the fee is credited toward your child’s first month’s tuition when they start.

When will the daycare contact me to secure a spot?
We will only contact you to secure a spot when a space is available within the primary time window of 3-4 months before to 3-4 months after your preferred start date and your child will be 10 months and older at that time.

Flexibility Beyond the Primary Window:

If no spots are available within this range, we will reach out to discuss extended flexibility, alternative locations, or other possible solutions to accommodate your childcare needs.

Please make sure to check your email regularly for messages from IC Early Learning Center, as email is our primary method of communication.

What happens if I’m not satisfied with the provided spot time or location?

If the spot we offer does not meet your expectations in terms of timing or location, we will provide up to two chances to secure a suitable spot for your child. Your name will remain on the spot guarantee list in its original position, and we will contact you again when another spot becomes available that better matches your preferences.

However, if both opportunities are declined, we will consider this as a decision not to join our center, and your name will be removed from the spot guarantee list.

Once I pay the spot securing fee, can you guarantee a space for my child?
Yes, once you pay the spot securing fee and are flexible with the location and start date, we will guarantee a spot for your child. However, while we can guarantee a space within the 3-4 month window of your expected start date, we cannot guarantee the exact starting date you request due to fluctuating availability.

What if I decline a spot when it becomes available?

If you decline a space, your name will remain on the spot guarantee list, but only for up to two chances to secure a spot. After two refusals, your name will be removed from the list.

What happens if I’m out of town when you contact me?

If you plan to travel, please notify us by email beforehand. We can only hold your position on the list if prior arrangements are made. Missed responses without prior notice will not be considered.

How much notice will I receive when a space becomes available?

We aim to provide at least one month’s notice before a space becomes available. However, this depends on how much notice we receive from current families or the number of families no longer needing their reserved space.

Do you have tips for getting a spot sooner?

Yes! Flexibility with your childcare preferences (e.g., location, start time) increases the likelihood of a space being offered sooner.

How will you notify me about an available spot?

Our primary method of communication is email. We will send updates and notifications about your child’s spot to the email address provided in your application. To ensure you don’t miss important updates, please:

Can I visit the center?

Yes! You’re welcome to visit, but only by appointment. Once we anticipate a spot for your child, our team will contact you to schedule a tour.
Please avoid dropping by without an appointment, as we’re often busy caring for children and cannot accommodate unplanned visits.

Can I contact the center for updates on the spot guarantee list?

Yes, you can email us for updates. However, we recommend reaching out only when your child is 10 months old or older. Updates are rough estimates, as we can only confirm spaces when current families provide notice of withdrawal.
